About EndGame

EndGame is a chess learning site for people who are new to the game or returning to it. It gathers three things in one friendly place:

Everything here is written with the beginner in mind, in plain language, and grounded in real facts rather than invented moves or dates.

Who makes it

EndGame is one of a small family of independent web projects from fdhcl.com. Its siblings are:

Different subjects, same approach: built by hand, cared for, and honest about what we know and don't.

Why

Chess is one of the few games where a total beginner and a master share the same 64 squares. That gap can feel intimidating, but it's learning-friendly in a way few hobbies are: the rules are small, the depth is infinite, and the patterns are learnable. We think the game deserves a welcoming corner of the web.

What's next

EndGame will grow — more lessons, more history, and (coming soon) a real puzzle trainer with verified, solvable positions. We're building the puzzle archive properly so that nothing on the board is ever wrong.
